:: What We Believe

  • In One true God, revealed as a triune being: The Father, The Son, and  The Holy Spirit.
  • The Deity of Jesus Christ.   He is God.
  • The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person.
  • The Old and New Testaments are the Divinely Inspired Word of God and the final authority in all matters.
  • All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and are in need of salvation.
  • Salvation has been provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.
  • Salvation is 100% a work of the Grace of God, received by Faith, and can in no way be earned by human works.
  • It is the Will of God that every believer is filled with the Holy Spirit.
  • Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer.
  • The Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
  • Victorious living is possible by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the righteous and of the unrighteous.
  • We believe in the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in water baptism and observance of the Lord's Supper as outward symbols of the inward work of the Holy Spirit through Faith in Jesus Christ.

Psalm 134:2 (NKJV)

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the LORD.

1 Timothy 2:8 (NKJV)

I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

Why do we speak in tongues and interpretation ?

1 Corinthians 14:39 (NKJV)

Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.

1 Corinthians 14:5 (NKJV)

I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.

Why do we use musical instruments in our worship?

Psalm 150:3-5 (NKJV)

3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp!  4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!  5 Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
